Summer Nature and Farm Camp 2020

Feb 5, 2020 | Camp

Kimberton Waldorf School offers an unforgettable summer experience for children entering grades K-6.

KWS has long been known for its nature based summer camp.  In addition to our creek adventures, kids cook weeks, and Independence week fun, campers will welcome new animals to our farm, tend the gardens and build animal shelters.  A different theme each week means there’s always something new to explore!

Our 2020 summer camp runs for 12 weeks from June 8 through August 28, 2020, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Pricing varies per week for additional materials or for weeks where there is additional hands on experiences.  Prices start at $285 per week during our early bird pricing.  Spaces are limited – register early!  Please register online by noon of the Friday prior to the week of camp, space permitting.

Extended care is available for all age groups at an additional cost.

  • Morning care is offered from 8:00 to 9:00 am for $50 per week.
  • We offer an afternoon program from 3:00 to 5:00 pm for an additional $100 per week.
  • We now offer same day registration for extended care to accommodate emergency situations that carry a slightly higher fee.

Here is important information about your week at camp – what to bring, where to go…

“I love summer camp at Kimberton Waldorf because we go in the creek a lot and we get to take care of animals.” – Miranda

“My daughter has attended to the Kimberton Summer Camp program for 5 years and absolutely loves it as do I.  Her favorite things about camp are swimming in French Creek, having fun with old friends and making new ones, playing capture the flag, and helping with the chickens. I love the program because I know my daughter is well cared for by the counselors whether she gets a bee sting, stumbles or just needs a hug.  I also love that the KWS summer camp program allows children to have fun in a way that leverages the beauty of the natural world while encouraging their innate tendencies of creativity, wonder and imagination.” –  Sara
